TEL AVIV, IL — June 28, 2022 — Aqua Security, the leading pure-play cloud native security provider, today announced that it is sponsoring Pascale Bercovitch, kayaker for the Israeli Paralympic team. As part of the relationship, she will participate in Aqua events such as the company’s recent global offsite in Milan.
Bercovitch lost both legs at the age of 17 after slipping under the wheels of a passenger train. She remained determined to not let challenges or fear be a roadblock to her, and at 54 years-old, she is the oldest actively competing Paralympic and Olympic kayaker in the world.

Among Bercovitch’s notable accomplishments, she has competed in four Paralympic games and is the only athlete to compete in three Olympics in three different sports – rowing, hand-cycling and kayaking. She is also a writer and international news reporter, and mother of two daughters. As part of the year-long sponsorship, Bercovitch will serve as a global brand ambassador for Aqua while training and during events and competition. Bercovitch will debut the branded partnership live at the European Championship in Munich from August 17 – August 21.
