Sales Operations Intern

About The Position

As a Sales Operations Intern, you will provide support to the sales team to help maximize revenue and efficiency. Reporting into the Sales Operations Manager, you will work closely with the entire Sales Operations team and other departments (such as Business Applications, Channel, Finance, and Marketing) to ensure seamless processes and effective collaboration. You will assist with data hygiene, Salesforce quoting and pipeline management, licensing, building reports, and implementing strategies that drive business growth. The ideal candidate for this role is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and has a strong analytical mindset.

This internship will help you acquire general business and sales skills and provide you with knowledge of various business development strategies, preparing you for any fast-paced work environment you might encounter in your career. As part of Aqua’s internship program, you will have the opportunity to join in company events, attend networking lunches with your fellow interns, and collaborate on important initiatives that directly impact the company.

This will be a hybrid position based in our Burlington, MA office. This is an exciting opportunity to learn from tenured sales leaders and make an impact in a rapid growing cyber security company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve Salesforce hygiene through numerous projects
  • Support Deal Desk members and their reps with pipeline management, deal processing, and licensing
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new sales processes and procedures
  • Help create performance metrics
  • Respond to marketplace inquiries and assist with marketplace transactions
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed


  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree and currently in Sophomore or Junior year of college
  • Available to work June through early August 2023
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A self-starter, driven, and eager to build skills in a sales related role
