The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will join Aqua’s global HR team from its US headquarters in Burlington, MA. This team is nimble, impactful, and creative, and we focus on building successful relationships and delivering value across the entire company. Our goal is to actively listen to employees, identify business needs and work to deliver high-quality solutions. We possess a “get-it-done” attitude with a service mindset.

The HRBP will provide a balance of global operational and strategic direction. This includes the ability to identify and resolve critical issues while implementing policies and practices that align to Aqua’s global HR objectives.

The right person for this role is passionate about providing thought leadership and coaching for people-related strategy and execution. You thrive on delivering results and developing trusted relationships.

What you will do:

  • Act as a business partner to the global Sales, Business Development & Marketing team on all human capital related issues
  •  Implement HR best practices, strategies, programs and initiatives to attract, develop and retain the best talent
  • Work closely with managers on effective soft skills and team leadership
  • Support employees in achieving their business goals
  • Advise on local employment labor law, comp & benefit policies and bench-marking 
  • Facilitate HR projects as part of a global HR team
  • Promote company values and culture

Requirements

What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree level in Human Resources or related field
  • 5 years’ experience in HR roles to include HRBP
  •  Past experience working in a start-up environment in hyper-growth
  • A balance of business acumen, relationship building, and courageous leadership with unquestionable integrity
  • Demonstrated success of driving change management, project management and a culture of excitement and enthusiasm to solve challenges within a start-up organization
  • Creative out-of-the-box thinking and innovative spirit
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and planning skills
