About the Role

As DevOps/GitOps Engineer, you will report to the GitOps Team Lead, and will be responsible for accommodate and anticipate the developers’ needs, providing support, infrastructure, deployment automation, and technical guidance as needed. In addition, we constantly look for ways to improve the developer experience, for our SaaS and OnPrem release infrastructure, and automation. As part of the DevOps group, you will provide technical guidance and infrastructure education to developers, ensuring best practices are followed while their needs are met. This includes modern infrastructure as code (IaC) approaches CI\CD pipelines and coding standards.

A successful candidate will have a strong background in modern Cloud native infrastructure, with a thorough understanding of industry best practices. The candidate will have a high level of comfort participating in challenging technical discussions and advocating for best practices in a high-paced environment.

· Work with the latest and greatest technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Functions and more combined with modern GitOps methodologies.

· Implement complex CI/CD processes that will enable fully automated, high-quality deliverables of the Aqua security Cloud Native Platform Protection products.

· Build and support production-grade environments and flows based on various Kubernetes deployments like OpenShisft, EKS, GKE, TKG across multiple cloud providers.

· Manage internal DevOps services and infrastructure used by the R&D, such as our internal Artifactory, ECR, ACR, Docker Hub , Jenkins and more.

· Install, configure, update and troubleshoot our product services and tools.

· Bring in new ideas, change, improve and simplify our infrastructure and development processes.


- At least 3+ years of hands-on proven experience as an Infrastructure, DevOps, or GitOps engineer.

· At least 2+ years of experience managing/owning a Kubernetes-based platform.

· At least 3+ years of experience of using build tools and building CI/CD processes in Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions or similar.

· Hands-on experience in scripting (Python/Groovy/Bash/GO).

· Experience in Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud – AWS , GCP , Azure. AWS preferred.

· Strong experience with SCM methodologies especially Git, Bitbucket and GitHub.

· Advanced knowledge of Linux OS and networking.

· Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as a Code tools (Terraform, Cloud formation)

Good to have :

· Experience with Package Management tools (PIP, NPM , Maven, Gradle, Helm).

· Experience in SAST tools (SonarQube, Aqua, WhiteSource, etc).

· Experience with configuration management tools (such as Chef, Puppet Ansible)

· Deep understanding of cloud environment methodologies and scalable cloud architecture.

· Ability to grasp new technologies quickly, prioritize and multitask on multiple responsibilities

· Proven ability with production monitoring and logging systems (DataDog, Splunk, Corologix, ELK)

· Configuration and managing relational and non-relational databases.
