Sales & Business Development Intern

The Sales & Business Development Intern will support a range of strategic initiatives to drive our account based prospecting initiatives and organize all aspects of hand-offs from marketing generated leads to sales. The Sales & Business Development Intern will report to the Inside Sales Manager. 

This is a paid internship on-site in Burlington, MA. The Intern will be expected to work roughly 15 hours per week.

 

Primarily Responsibilities: 

  • Perform market research to identify and track key stakeholders, strategic initiatives, and technology stacks in targeted accounts 
  • Maintain reports to adhere to Aqua Security's competitive intelligence via research and monitor  marketing changes 
  • Analyze and segment data for the purpose of growing net new business 
  • Cultivate call lists and marketing campaign lists 
  • Update and maintain databases such as: LinkedIn Navigator, DiscoverOrg, and Salesforce.com 
  • Assist the Inside Sales Team in maintaining daily prospecting plans 

Requirements

  • Recent College Graduate or working towards a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Sales, Communications, Marketing or business) 
  • Motivated and eager to be part of a dynamic team that is always learning
  • Experience or desire to learn the art of selling and prospecting to new customers 
  • Comfortable following a defined sales process 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills is a must 
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Basic computer knowledge required
