Senior Account Based Marketing Manager

About The Position

Aqua’s Senior Account Based Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team within specific, targeted accounts and contacts. The role will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to educate and engage strategic accounts: acquire new logos, expand install base footprint, and driven cross-sell/upsell opportunities.

Job responsibilities:

  • Gather and share industry and account-based intelligence such as mapping the organizational decision-makers, identifying the key contacts in each account and providing regular updates on industry, company, and contacts to sales to identify/solidify selling opportunities
  • Support ABM leadership with one-to-one (large-account) marketing execution (EBC style programs)
  • Ensure marketing activities line up with strategies developed and translate plans to the sales team for enablement and campaign execution
  • Educate the sales team and customer success reps on new and existing marketing activities being performed
  • Work with the Product Marketing team to develop compelling offers targeted to a ICP buying team and mapped to the buyer’s journey. Leverage pillar campaigns by offering distinct,
  • Execute from content creation to delivery using the right mix of digital marketing, inbound, broad-based, and field marketing activities
  • Manage overall programs budget and work with cross-functional digital marketing and events team members to execute campaigns
  • Utilize internal and external resources for use in marketing execution for strategic accounts, such as direct mail, EBC days, tech partner / GSI engagement selling
  • Develop specific ABM metrics to measure the performance of programs, including adoption of account scoring model
  • Lead ongoing account check-ins with sales team to ensure account goals, key contacts and account plans remain on track, and discuss upcoming account requirements and modifications


  • The ideal candidate will have experience designing and executing 1:1, 1: few, and broad-based marketing initiatives to meet pipeline requirements of varied account segments
  • Proven success (revenue generation) of multi-channel demand generation campaigns and complex ABM execution via inbound and outbound channels
  • 3+ years B2B marketing experience with a focus on target/named account-focused programs in an account-based marketing, demand generation, or field marketing role
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
  • Competent in all areas of marketing including strategy, plans, sales enablement, thought leadership and demand generation
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to demand generation with the ability to track and report on long-term and complex campaign performance and account scoring metrics as well as lagging revenue attribution, revenue influence and ROI
