Field Marketing Specialist

About The Position

Aqua is looking for skilled field marketing specialist to join our growing team to plan marketing events and programs to support the needs of the field team with the goal of engaging prospect activity and driving awareness. The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills and be able to work in a fast-paced start-up environment. This person will be able to multi-task and be self-motivated with a can-do attitude. This is a full-time position based in Burlington, MA reporting to the VP-go-to-Market. The role offers significant room for personal initiative, expanding responsibilities and professional growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage our field marketing events and meet-ups, including pre-event planning, staffing, and post-event follow-up – while optimizing activities within budget guidelines
  • Preparing and executing a detailed outline of the event needs
  • Establish programs to enable field / partner resources to execute local events with minimal corporate support (partner events, meetups, user groups, etc.)
  • Develop compelling invitations, promotional content and landing pages to maximize response / conversion
  • Work with Social Media Manager to drive attendance and awareness around events on social channels
  • Update the marketing calendar and communicate upcoming events to sales / partners
  • Manage external contractors as needed to achieve objectives
  • Assist Event Marketing Manager with major company events and trade shows
  • Work closely with sales development, field sales, pre-sales and product teams to support events, develop materials for follow-up and lead qualification


Requirements

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in B2B/enterprise software marketing is a must; familiarity with security solutions and/or the software development lifecycle is a plus
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills
  • Native or native-like English speaker – additional language proficiency is a plus
  • BA/BS in marketing/business/communications
  • Superb analytical skills and results-driven approach
  • Experienced in marketing automation, email and analytics tools, e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce.com
  • Highly effective team player, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Go-getter, self-sufficient, results oriented and versatile
  • Some travel may be required to support events (20-30%)
  • Aspiration for both personal and professional growth
