Learning Specialist
About The Position
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about implementing learning solutions and being part of a team who is driving multiple learning and development initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation maintenance, documentation and day-to-day administration of the Learning Management System and the deployment of online learning solutions. You will also be working closely with the Global L&D and HR teams to actively identify opportunities to improve our L&D processes and support a variety of learning activities across Aqua.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the continuous implementation and adoption of LMS, while working closely with relevant internal stakeholders and the LMS vendor
- Maintain ongoing responsibility of all elements related to LMS functionality, including building the internal structures, content integrations to the LMS database, learning paths, and reporting
- Collaborate with the vendors to implement integrations, enhancements, resolve support requests, provide system features and enhancements inputs, assist in functionality testing
- Educate and train - employees on how to use the system efficiently; managers on how to manage the training of their teams; and system admins on how to best leverage the LMS’s functionality
- Manage external learning resources (“Udemy”, etc) available to employees and track usage
- Maintain existing learning resources up to date and initiate the creating of new content or resources when needed
- Support in coordinating and implementing learning initiatives (F2F and remotely) in various departments and locations
- Work with the L&D and HR team to drive a learning culture and adopt L&D best practices across the company
- Support in identifying learning and development needs and taking part in the designing of processes and initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience in implementing, administering, and maintaining Learning Management Systems in a global business environment
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices, experience building learning paths and creating training programs
- Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, and systems
- Experience utilizing project management skills; demonstrated project management experience
- Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines, often in stressful and high- pressure situations.
- A self-starter who independently initiates new assignments and identifies ways to improve; as well as a strong team member who collaborates naturally
- Goal-oriented, proactive, accountable, and passionate about driving business-driven outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal English an ability to produce content
- Experience in measurement and evaluation – advantage
- Degree in a relevant field such as instructional design, business, education, organizational development, or Human Resources – advantage
