About The Position

Aqua's Platform is being transformed into a pure SaaS, multi-tenant, all-serverless solution that is developed, managed, and provisioned entirely in the cloud.

The Cloud Infra DevOps team in our Platform group is responsible for the cloud deployment architecture; provisioning and monitoring our cloud infrastructure and data pipelines that include Debezium, Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, Schema Registry; and building a whole new set of CI/CD processes to manage the deployment and operation of new services in the cloud.

You will be provided with the opportunity to define the cloud architecture of a cybersecurity unicorn, working alongside a talented group of cloud-native experts.

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for all DevOps areas: Aqua’s infrastructure and cloud environment, tools, services, monitoring, up-time, and costs
Be part of our platform’s architectural and infrastructure design, build and leverage the backend infrastructure, examine and implement new cloud technologies, and open-source tools to improve the delivery and availability of the platform.

Plan and advance the growth and scale of data capacity for various projects

Requirements

3 + years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
Expertise in the AWS cloud platform - this is a must
Infrastructure as a code (IaaC), preferably Terraform
Proven hands-on experience with containerized environments and microservices; Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies, using relevant tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) – a plus
Knowledge of large messaging infrastructures (Kafka) - big bonus!
Proficiency with at least one scripting/programming language (preferably Go).
An innovative approach, with the ability to quickly learn technologies
The mindset and approach for automating away from manual efforts
A strong sense of ownership and accountability

Bonus points for:

Experience with various SQL and NoSQL DBs
