About The Position

Aqua Security is the largest pure-play cloud native security company. Our customers are among the world’s largest enterprises in financial services, software, media, and retail. The Aqua Platform provides prevention, detection, and response automation across the entire application lifecycle.

We are looking for a Sales Development Intern to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for working closely with the SDR team to help generate a new business pipeline. Your insightful contribution will eventually help develop, expand, and maintain our relationships with our business partners and ultimately drive sales.

This internship will help you acquire general business and sales skills and provide you with knowledge of various business development strategies, preparing you for any fast-paced work environment you might encounter in your career. As part of Aqua’s internship program, you will have the opportunity to join in company events, attend networking lunches with your fellow interns, and collaborate on important initiatives that directly impact the company.

This will be a hybrid position based in our Burlington, MA office. This is an exciting opportunity to learn from tenured sales leaders and make an impact in a rapid growing cyber security company.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales team in account buildout activities
  • Maintaining and updating Salesforce (CRM) data and support sales development leadership in understanding team analytics
  • Generate new business opportunities to build pipeline
  • Learn to utilize lead generation tools, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce and ZoomInfo

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree and currently in Sophomore or Junior year of college
  • Available to work June through early August 2022
  • Experience using LinkedIn
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A self starter, driven, and eager to build skills in a sales role
